第一部分：罗马
第一集：罗马街道（Streets of Rome） [背景知识:罗马街道]
风雨交加的夜晚在英国南部向来是最常见的。就是在这么一个平淡无奇的夜，一道闪电划破了浓黑的天空。厚重的黑云挡住了上天的视线，雨毫不留情地撞击在地面上。
一个熟悉的黑影在这倾盆大雨中站立着。是的，看到那小手枪，甚至太阳镜，人们都可以坚定地说："ＬＡＲＡ。"
可是又一道闪电打破了人们的希望。那只不过是ＬＡＲＡ的雕象。怀着万分景仰的心情阅读碑铭，上书：
LARA CROFT
超越时代的冒险家，
FOR HER.
古墓之神注人物：ＷＩＮＳＴＯＮ温斯顿（劳拉忠实的爱尔兰管家，已经没有多少爱尔兰口音了，缺乏幽默感，但并不粗鲁）、ＪＥＡＮ——ＹＶＥＳ让﹒伊夫（法国考古学家，劳拉的同行，老朋友，很热情）和ＰＡＴＲＩＣＫ（此处应该是Father Dunstan，以后将错就错，请CROW改过来）邓斯坦神父（主持仪式的爱尔兰家庭牧师，五十岁）回到Lara的书房，回忆起Lara过去的一些冒险经历......
在ＬＡＲＡ雕象的旁边站着一对夫妇[古墓之神注一] 。他们似乎在啜泣，可是无情的雷雨将一切都掩盖了。
ＷＩＮＳＴＯＮ将一个花圈放在另两个花圈旁，向那对夫妇颔首点了个头。
那对夫妇不舍地走了。
可怜的ＷＩＮＳＴＯＮ步履蹒跚地向着一部车走去。车上坐着ＰＡＴＲＩＣＫ神父。不要吃惊他们的相聚，车上的液晶电视正在播放着："现在播报新闻。今天有一个为著名考古学家Lara举办的私人纪念仪式...（ In world news, a private memorial service was today held for renowned archaeologist Lara Croft.）"
Patrick神父："真是令人悲痛的一天，Winston。（'Tis a sad day, Winston.）"
Winston："她将永远活在我们的心里。（She will live on forever in our hearts.）"
Patrick神父："确实如此，Winston。这只不过是个纪念仪式而已。但是也许ＶＯＮ ＣＲＯＹ会在埃及有所发现。（Surely, Winston, and for this is but a memorial service. There may yet be news from Von Croy in Egypt.）"

Patrick神父："嗯...（Indeed...indeed.）"
｛古墓之神注：ＩＮＤＥＥＤ和ＷＥＬＬ等都是英格兰人常用的语气助词。其实也不能说就是语气助词，可以这么理解。｝
回到Lara的豪宅，Jean-Yves也在。WINSTON依然不紧不慢地走着，把Patrick神父和Jean-Yves领向书房。此时又是一道闪电，照亮了整个客厅，依稀可见三个沧桑的背影。
ＷＩＮＳＴＯＮ："："去书房吧，先生们为那些天来所发生的一系列事件做个概括。（To the study, gentlemen, where we may pontificate over the day's disheartening events.）"
ＪＥＡＮ－ＹＥＶＥＳ："嗯，我的朋友，甚至主都在悲泣。（Indeed, my friend, even the heavens cry out.）"
在书房中，Jean-Yves和Patrick神父坐在火炉边。然后Winston端来了茶。Jean-Yves拿起一块石头，它在炉火映照下闪现出漂亮的光芒。
Winston："啊，哲人之石。 [背景知识：哲人之石] 这是Lara早期的战利品之一...如果我没记错的话，也是她最富有挑战性的消遣之一 。（Ah, the Philosopher's Stone. One of Lara's early conquests... and one of her most challenging pursuits, if my memory serves me.）"[古墓之神注二]
Patrick神父："罗马至今仍带着那次事件留下的伤痕呢。（And Rome still bears the scars of that little episode.）"
Jean-Yves："啊，她从不是一个外交家。但她当然知道如何（像一个外交家那样）搞破坏。（Ah, she was never one for diplomacy, Lara. But she certainly knew how to paint the town red.）" [古墓之神注三]
此时他们三个都进入了深深的回忆中。时光倒流。
等下！！我觉得ＪＥＡＮ－ＹＥＶＥＳ是对的，错的是那个ＰＡＴＲＩＣＫ神甫，应该是Father Dunstan，也就是邓斯坦神父。你看看，如果觉得不对请跟贴，把理由说出来。
罗马歌剧院二楼包厢，Lara穿着夜礼服，正用专用的小型双筒望远镜专注地欣赏丰满（嗯，确实很丰满啊）的女高音歌唱演员的表演。这时Larson出现在她背后，他粗鲁地拍拍Lara的肩膀："有什么好看的，她不就是一幅画吗？（ Well, gol' darn, ain't she just a picture?）" ［古墓之神注四］
Lara转头看他："啊，迷人的MR.Larson。Pierre把您从狗链的束缚中释放了吗？说起来，我们这位才华横溢的朋友呢？（Ah, the charming Mr. Larson. Has Pierre let you off the leash? Talking of which, where is our learned friend?）" ［古墓之神注五］
Larson："哦，他在附近，你带了现金吗？（Aw, he's around. You got the cash?）"
Lara："带了，但我不跟猴子交易。（I've got the cash, but I don't deal with the monkey.）"
Larson："WELL NOW，这样子可不像淑女哦...即使是一只带着墨丘利之石的猴子（你也会拒绝吗）？（Well now, that ain't polite for a lady...even if the monkey has the Mercury Stone?）"说着他拿出一大颗发光的黄色宝石。 [背景知识：墨丘利之石] [古墓之神注六]
Lara迅速提起装满现金的箱子："你幸运地遇到了我慷慨的时候。（Lucky I'm in a generous mood.）"
就在这时，突然有把枪顶住了ＬＡＲＡ的头，看来就是提到过的ＰＩＥＲＲＥ了。
Lara转头看着他："啊，终于敢爬出来了，可被我看到了哦。（Ah, crawled out from under your rock, I see.）"
Pierre从黑暗中走出："现在可不是开玩笑的时候，ＭＩＳＳ ＣＲＯＦＴ。恐怕我得再次帮你减轻点负担。（No need for unpleasantries, Miss Croft. I'm afraid I must once again relieve you of your burden.）"
Lara"聪明"地交出箱子，说道："来得容易去得快。（Easy come, easy go.）"
ＬＡＲＡ优雅地伸出戴着手套的手（意图十分明显啊，嘿嘿），Pierre脑子不知道搭错了哪根线，玩下腰就想亲吻ＬＡＲＡ的手。（嘿嘿）这时Lara突然给了ＰＩＥＲＲＥ一下。Pierre匆忙后退，从Larson手中抢过了箱子，躲到他身后。Lara走上前去，一改刚才那淑女的样子，浑身透出一股凌厉的气势，脸上浮现出邪恶的笑容。Larson不禁害怕地后退。Lara迅速摆腿踢向ＬＡＲＳＯＮ的手，使他手中的哲人之石脱手飞出，Lara马上两个后空翻落在包厢的栏杆上，接住宝石插在她的吊袜带里，然后飞扑过去抓住挂着的幕布，引来一片惊呼声。当她落在舞台上时，不明就里的观众们都为这位小姐的精彩演出所折服，全场掌声雷动，还有人将玫瑰丢到台上。Lara优雅地向观众鞠躬，当她抬起头时看到Pierre和Larson正向她开枪，便转身飞快地往后台出口处跑去。
Pierre和Larson跑下楼，途中Pierre说道："到那肥胖的女歌手开始唱歌之前这事都没完。（It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.）" ［古墓之神注七］
Lara推开门，一把抢过送花人的小摩托车。Pierre和Larson则抢了一辆的士追赶，并从后面不断撞击小摩托车。Larson开始得意忘形了："（多么像只）跳跃的野马，ＢＡＢＥ！（Buckin' bronco, baby!）"
Lara骑着摩托车拐进一条窄巷。前面是一道铁栅，下面只有不高的缝隙。Lara专业地将摩托一倒（蛮专业的～），滑到铁栅后，站起来镇定地看着驶来的的士，嘴边挂着一丝冷笑。
Larson惊慌地叫起来："老板，我们过不去啊。（We ain't gonna make that gap, boss.）"
Pierre："我们会过去的。（We'll make it.）"
Larson："我们过不去的。（Ain't gonna.）"
汽车的顶部狠狠地撞到了铁栅上，前部离ＬＡＲＡ站的地方只有几厘米。
Larson叫道："我怎么跟你说的来着？（What did I tell you?）"
Pierre："我的天啊！（Mon dieu!）" ［古墓之神注八］
Lara看着狼狈的二人，调皮地给了他们一个飞吻，优雅地离去。
Lara走出小院子，进入花园。左边有面石壁，紧闭的门上有三个龙头，门两边共有四个底座。Lara走上前，取出在歌剧院抢回的墨丘利之石（Mercury Stone），将宝石放入壁上底座内。这时墙头有动静，Lara马上转身拔枪，却没有看到人。Lara冷笑道："老鼠们，我可不会吃惊，大老鼠们。（Rodents, I shouldn't wonder. Big rodents.）"
墙头上果然是Pierre和Larson这两个笨蛋。刚才是Larson差点滑倒，Pierre扶住了他。他爬起来后又举枪对准Lara，被Pierre阻止了："白痴！不折不扣的白痴！你这牛仔开枪之前脑子不转吗？？（Idiot! Idiot! What does the cowboy hope to achieve with this mindless firing?）" ［古墓之神注九］
Larson感到纳闷："我脑子怎么不转了，难道我们不再打算杀她？"（Ain't mindless. Or ain't we trying to kill her anymore then?）"
Pierre："你被马踢到脑袋了，是不是？所以脑子不正常。（You were kicked in the head by a horse, oui? So the brain doesn't work correctly.）"
Larson一头雾水，他恼火地用枪顶了顶ＰＩＥＲＲＥ："你知道些什么？（How'd you know about that?）"
Pierre："别紧张！别紧张！等她找齐其他石头，我们就可以坐收渔翁之利了。（Never mind! Never mind! We wait until she collects the other pieces. In this fashion we have the full prize at no extra effort.）"
Larson恍然大悟："老板，你是一个聪明的家伙。（You are one clever cookie, boss.）"
Pierre："跟你比，是的。来，让我们从屋顶上下去，我给你买一杯奶昔。（Comparatively, yes. Come, let's get off this roof and I will buy you a milkshake.）"［古墓之神注十］
Lara下坡回到石壁旁，看到Pierre在门前，她迅速拔出枪来。
Pierre："过来，Lara。在这里我们都是朋友。（Come, come, Lara. We are all friends here.）"
ＬＡＲＡ并不怕他，走了过去。此时Larson突然出现在Lara身旁，用枪指着她的头："乞求您的原谅，女士，但如果您愿意（最好）把那些玩具枪拿开...（Begging your pardon, ma'am, but if you'd like to put them peashooters away...）"
劳拉只好收起了枪，Larson当然得寸进尺，粗鲁地将她推到石壁前。
Pierre："现在，如果你愿意请把第二块石头交出来吧，Lara小姐。（Now, the second stone if you please, Miss Croft.）"
Lara："过来拿吧。（Come and get it.）"
Pierre："嗯...已经很晚了，可不适合玩这些游戏。Larson，如果你愿意，搜搜她身上。（Hmmm...It's a little late in the evening for these games. Larson, search her if you please.）"
Larson："好吧，如果我所做的不全是最好工作的话。（Well, gosh darn if I don't get all the best jobs.）" ［古墓之神注十一］
他自然趁机在Lara身上揩起油来。Lara沉住气："何不看看我的背包里有没有？（You want to try the back pockets?）"
Larson果然照办（......），这时Lara抬起膝盖狠狠一顶...Larson惨叫一声倒在地上。
Pierre叫道："Larson！够了，我的耐心已经被这孩子气的胡闹耗尽了。那块石头，Lara小姐。（Larson! Enough! My patience is exhausted with this childish nonsense. The stone, Miss Croft.）"
Lara把石头交出："如果你把石头放进去，Pierre，你得到的会比你想要的还多，相信我。（If you put this into that gate, Pierre, you're going to get a lot more than you bargained for, trust me.）"（这句话真太经典了！！喜欢啊！收下！ :toothy10:）
Larson拿过石头："让我来放吧。（I'll put it in then.）"
Lara："这将会是你做过最蠢的事情之一，也就是说，你将会意识到有什么发生。（That would be one of the stupidest moves you've made, and that's saying something I think you'll appreciate.）"
Larson将石头放入壁上底座内。
Pierre此时得意地说："尝试总是好的， Miss Croft。（A nice try as always, Miss Croft.）"
Lara冷笑道："等着瞧...（Wait for it...）"
这时突然一道闪电，Larson的双腿着火了！
Lara："别说我没警告过你啊。（Don't say I didn't warn you.）"
Pierre慌忙说道："怎么了？我们做了什么？（What is it? What have we done?）"
Lara："按你一贯轻浮的作风，你已经让门的另一种状态启动了。（In your usual flamboyant style, you have set in motion the next gate phase.）" ［古墓之神注十二］
Pierre不解："另一种状态？（Next gate phase?）"
Lara告诉他："如果我没有记错的话，这道门的机关已经启动。如果在短时间内不能放入另外两个石头的话...嘭！！如果我是你的话，就会赶紧带着这个克鲁马努（旧石器时代晚期在欧洲的高加索人种）牛仔离开。拉开你的短腿尽量跑吧，跑得越远越好。别了，我的宝贝。（If my memory serves me, the gate has realigned itself and if it does not receive two stones in the next few moments...pow! If I was you, I'd grab your Cro-Magnon cowboy over there and run as fast as your little legs will carry you. Au revoir, mon chèr.）" ［古墓之神注十三］ ［背景：克鲁马努人］
Lara撇下两个笨蛋，悠哉悠哉地离开，去寻找剩下的两个石头。
第二集：图雷真市场（Trajan's markets） ［背景知识：图雷真大帝］
Lara上岸后马上拔枪："出来！不管你们在哪里，马上给我出来。（Come out, come out wherever you are.）"
Larson从石壁旁走出来："该死的，这次的埋伏并非我以前所习惯的那种。（Heck, this ambushin' ain't what it used to be.）" ［古墓之神注十四］
Lara："如果是你的埋伏就难说了。（Not when you're involved, no.）"［古墓之神注十五］
Larson："我认为多练习才会达到完美嘛。（Practice makes perfect, I'm reckonin'.）"
Lara："随你怎么说。看起来好像少了一个人。（Whatever. We seem to be missing someone.）"
Larson："如果你是指那个法国佬，他有点儿...不舒服。（If you's talking 'bout Frenchy, he's kind of... indisposed.）。"（Pierre是法国人。）［古墓之神注十六］
Lara："你以为你能随意与他分享门后的东西么？除非这是个社交聚会。（And you thought you might just help yourself to his share of what's behind that gate? Unless of course this is just a social visit.）"
Larson："ＷＥＬＬ，你知道我总是乐于见到像你这样的小美女，Lara。可是如果你想把剩下的石头交出来，那我就更乐于见到。（Well, you know I's always pleased to see a little belle like you, Lara. Be more pleased to see that last stone, though, if you'll be wantin' to hand it over.）"
Lara果断地向他开枪，Larson向后一滚，躲到了石壁后："我可没预料到会这样。（That ain't supposed to happen.）"
Lara和Larson展开枪战，很轻松就将他击败。（最好马上存一下。）古墓之神打小喽罗几乎都用强力武器如霰弹枪，ＵＺＩ之类的，可是打ＢＯＳＳ就一定用小手枪，这个是我无伤通关的秘诀，分享一下～～像收拾ＬＲＡＳＯＮ，他还没来得及打中我就挂了～
Larson勉强支撑身体，从地上爬了起来。这时，石壁上的三个龙头开始活动起来了。
Lara提醒Larson："Larson！看你身后！（Larson! Behind you!）"
Larson当然不相信："我也许是头蠢驴，不过我不会再次上当的。（I may be a dumb ass but I ain't fallin' for that again.）"
三条龙都从石壁中爬出来，身体越来越长，最终都从门中出来了。
Lara再次提醒Larson："不，真的...你身后有东西。（No, really... behind you.）"
Larson还以为劳拉在骗他，就模仿着她的语气来嘲笑她："看你身后！看你身后！（Behind you! Behind you!）"话音未落他就被其中一头龙衔住了，鬼叫起来，那头龙把他远远甩了出去。 :laughing11:
第三集：圆形大剧场（The Colosseum） ［背景知识：罗马圆形大剧场］
ＬＡＲＡ滑了下去！可下面是深谷！Lara敏捷地及时抓住了边缘。
可是这时Pierre却出现了："嗯...情况不妙啊，是吧？（Um...an unfortunate situation, no?）"
Lara一字一顿："比这更糟的我都经历过。（I've had worse.）"
Pierre："确实如此，确实如此。下面是一个深渊，而这里作为历史上著名的竞技场，我想深渊下可能会有贵重的宝物哦。（Indeed. Indeed. This is a very deep pit and in this, such an historic venue, I feel sure there may be valuable artifacts lurking in its depths.）"
Lara："我不能引诱你跳下去看看么？（I can't tempt you to jump down and take a look?）"
Pierre："ＷＥＬＬ，这是我的观点：我觉得你更有资格探索下面的秘密。除非你——让这种想法见鬼去吧——在掉下去时断气。或许减轻一点你的负担，就可能减少些冲击...您的宝石？（Well, this is my point: I feel you may be better qualified to examine its secrets. Unless you—perish the thought—expired in the fall. Perhaps if you lighten your load a little it may lessen the impact...The stone you carry?）" ［古墓之神注十八］
Lara："我就知道你想着它。拉我上去，宝石就是你的了。（Wondered when you'd get to that. Pull me up and the stone is yours.）"
Pierre："这之后我们都能好好活着？我想不会吧。给我你的承诺：当你上来后连我一根手指也不会动。（And we all live happily ever after? I think not. Give me your word that once you leave the pit you will not lay a finger on me.）"
Lara："我答应你。（You have my word.）"
Pierre将她拉了上来，Lara走到他身后的石壁旁，转身向他逼近。
Pierre感到不妙，紧张得不由自主地后退："呃，那些宝石...现在就给我，现在，Miss Croft，你承诺过的。快， Lara。 Lara，你承诺过的。（Er, the stone...Now, now, Miss Croft, you gave me your word. Come now Lara. Lara, you promised.）"
Lara靠近他，大声吓ＰＩＥＲＲＥ："Boo！（Boo!）"被吓到的Pierre失足滑落深渊，他抓住了边缘。
Lara拔枪在手，准备继续前进。
Pierre叫道："您能发发慈悲拉我上去吗？我快掉下去了。（Could you find it in your heart to help me up? I appear to be slipping.）"
Lara停下脚步："Pierre，你知道没有什么能（比拉您上去）更让我高兴了。但我们有一个协议。（Pierre, you know nothing would please me more, but we have an agreement.）"
Pierre奇道："协议？（Agreement?）"
Lara："连你的一根手指也不碰。记得吗，蠢材？总之，忙碌的女孩，出发了～～～（Not to lay a finger on you. Remember, silly? Anyway, busy girl, got to go.）" （真可爱......真卑鄙......哦，不，那叫智慧～）
Lara说完就走开了。身后传来Pierre的声音："不...我...啊啊啊啊啊啊~~~（But... I... aaaahhh!）"
Lara："可别让我拉你上来啊～（Don't let me hold you up.）" :laughing11:

第二部分：核潜艇
第四集：基地（The base）
Lara举起哲人之石对着光观察。
［画面切换回Lara的书房］Winston正把手中的哲人之石放下，说道："这就是LARA许多故事中的一个。我肯定Miss Croft会是第一个因为对一些更精致的宗教神器做出不够尊重的行为而道歉的人。Patrick神父？（And so ended the first of many. I'm sure Miss Croft would be the first to apologize for her not entirely courteous behavior regarding some of the more delicate religious artifacts. Father Patrick?）" [古墓之神注十九]
Patrick神父："不需要，我的朋友，都是出于好的动机。至少我们知道它们是在可靠的人手里。幸运的是教会没有派刀枪不入的使者去收回它们。（No need, my friend, all for a good cause. At least we knew they were in secure hands. And fortunately the Church was above sending a bulletproof envoy to retrieve them.）"
Jean-Yves："啊，但在这个伟大的计划中她认清了自己的位置。有些东西，就像历史已经例证的，最好让它们继续沉睡...（Ah, but she recognized her place in the great scheme. Some things, as history has illustrated, are best left to their slumber... ）

Jean-Yves有点尴尬："我说得让你们摸不着头脑了。我说的是这艘罹难的潜艇。（I speak in riddles. I talk of the stricken wolf ship.）"
他望向壁炉上的一幅画，画里绘着一艘潜艇，可以判断出那是从前威风一时的德国潜艇Ｕ－ＢＯＡＴ。［背景知识：德国潜艇Ｕ－ＢＯＡＴ］
Winston："啊，是的，那次的U-boat事件。Miss Croft从不向我透露那件事的细节，她总强调说是为了我好。（Ah yes, the U-boat episode. Miss Croft would never enlighten me as to the details. For my own protection, she would often stress.）"
Jean-Yves："嗯，Winston，为此你应该感激她。（Indeed, Winston, and for this you should be grateful.）"
［画面切换到德国潜艇内部］镜头向潜艇后部移动，来到储藏舱。我们看到地上放着一只很普通的柳条箱。
Jean-Yves的声音做为旁白响起："船舱深处躺着对全体基督教徒来说最具能量的神器之一，当先驱者挥动这件神器时，他所率领的军队就会变成不可战胜的。（Deep in the bowels of their vessel lay one of the most powerful artifacts in all Christendom, an artifact which, when wielded at the vanguard of an army would make that army invincible.）"
Patrick神父的声音："朗基奴斯之枪。（The Spear of Destiny.）"（哇！绝对的神器耶～）［背景知识：朗基奴斯之枪］
这时箱子中发出奇异的声响并且摇动着，从中透出神秘的白光来。
Jean Yves的声音继续在画面外响起："但这艘潜艇从没能载着它的贵重货物回到祖国，在长达三个星期的航行后，它在雷达上消失了。（But the boat never reached the Fatherland with its precious cargo. It disappeared from radar three weeks into its journey.）"
画面上看起来是储藏舱的门外，此时舱中很暗，通讯兵在发送求救信息，其他船员聚在旁边。这时突然舱门后透出诡异的白光！
船员们开始慌乱，纷纷后退。强烈的白光竟然把固定门的铆钉震了出来！
士兵们已控制不住自己的身体，胡乱地开枪。长官试图阻止他们，但失去理智的人怎会服从命令？
被白光碰到的人全都痛苦地死去。乱飞的子弹击中了鱼雷......
沉在海床上的潜艇炸成两截。画面一片漆黑。
Jean-Yves接着说："因此那就是52个水兵安息之地，也留下了某种极为不祥的东西。（And so this was the resting place of the 52 seamen... and also something much more sinister.）"
我要顶不住啦！！我只是稍微碰了下桌子，它又重启了！！看来我插头松了......还好只做了点......

Lara穿着英国空军特别部队伪装服，举着望远镜，头上戴着顶让·雷诺所谓"防止感冒"的小帽，正在观察坡下远处的一座基地。
站在一旁的Jean Yves说："Zapadnaya Litsa港口。俄罗斯舰队曾经的骄傲。（The Zapadnaya Litsa port. Once the pride of the Russian fleet.）" ［背景知识：Zapadnaya Litsa港口］
这时两辆黑色轿车向基地驶来，ＬＡＲＡ调整望远镜焦距观察坐在其中一辆车内的人。
Jean-Yves："他们中的大多数都是从前东德国家安全局前克格勃出来的，经过严格训练的杀手。（Ex-KGB the majority of them. Trained killers.）" ［古墓之神注二十］
Lara："（我）以前跟黑手党打过交道的。令人不愉快的记忆。如果可能真想避开他们。（Dealt with Mafioso before. Unpleasant memories. Prefer to avoid them whenever possible.）"（哇，越来越发现ＬＡＲＡ和卫斯理老兄是一个模子印出来的～）
Jean-Yves："是啊，我何尝不这样想。（Yes, I would prefer this also.）"
Lara用望远镜观察海面，看到一些小船，她说："（那）几乎不是一支搜索队，是吧？一定些事情你没告诉我。（Hardly a major search party, is it? There's something you're not telling me.）"
Jean-Yves："啊，是的。（Ah, yes.）"
Lara："我是个大女孩了，把这个坏消息告诉我。（I'm a big girl now. Hit me with the bad news.）"
Jean-Yves："这就是坏消息：一名海军上将被收买了，而他控制着一艘核潜艇。它停在这里其中一个造船厂里。（It is bad news. The admiral's allegiance has been bought and under his command a nuclear submarine. It's housed in one of the dockyards.）"
Lara："做得好。核潜艇...听起来不错...完美的假期。（Well done. Nuclear submarine...sounds nice...perfect holiday.）"说完ＬＡＲＡ准备离开。
Jean-yves："Lara，等一下，带着这个跟踪器。（Lara, wait. Take this tracking device.）"
Lara："这是什么？你没必要担心我。（What's this? You're not worried about me.）" ［古墓之神注二十一］
Jean-Yves："是的，（但）有人不得不这样做。（Yes. Someone has to.）"
Lara接过跟踪器："令人感动...不过可别熬夜等我。（Touching...but don't wait up.）"
说完她往坡下跑去，美丽的背影逐渐消失。
Jean Yves也不罗嗦什么，跨上雪地摩托就离开了。
Lara上楼用银钥匙开门，走出去到二楼平台上。下面是码头。
ＬＡＲＡ发现码头上有两个人正在谈话，就赶紧蹲下藏起来偷听他们的对话。
楼下一身黄色皮大裘的是黑手党成员Mikhailov，另一个一身严肃的军人打扮的俄罗斯海军上将Yarofev。（哇，标准打扮啊！！）
Mikhailov："让你的人抓紧。我没有多余的钱让这些无能的家伙敲诈。（Move your men along. I do not pay such extortional prices for incompetence.）"
Yarofev严肃地说："永远别忘了，Mikhailov，我仍然是俄罗斯海军的一名上将，我必须得到应有的尊重。（You forget, Mikhailov, I am still an admiral of the Russian navy and as such demand respect.）"
Mikhailov："当你接受我的贿赂同意我使用潜艇时，你就是受我雇用。你要做的是听从我的指示而不是抱怨。（While you accept my bribes for use of the submarine, you are under my employ and will follow my instructions without complaint.）"
Yarofev更加严肃："如果我会与像你这样的家伙打交道的话，那是为了使我的手下能够不至于挨饿，并不表示我会成为你们中的一员。（If I deal with the like of you to keep my men in bread, it does not make me one of you.）" （当时的苏联的经济状况......大家都知道吧......）
Mikhailov赶紧说好话："放松些，我的朋友。我们是一枚硬币的两面。（Relax, my friend. We are two sides of the same coin.）"说着他重重拍了一下Yarofev的肩膀，走向潜艇。
Yarofev看着他的背影，不屑地说道："黑手党垃圾。（Mafioso filth.）"然后他抬头向他的一名手下喊道："Kruschev，赶快处理那个箱子。我们的新指挥官要求效率。（Kruschev, hurry on with that box. Our new commander demands efficiency.）"
看到他的部下将箱子堆到斜坡上滑进仓库，他又喊道："够了！够了！盖上它然后密封舱口。（Enough! Enough! Board and seal hatches.）"
他登上潜艇，爬上舰桥时，Mikhailov等在那里，看到他来了才爬进舱内："既然你已经提升我为指挥官，在海军上将进入前就关闭舱盖不大合适吧？（As you have promoted me to commander, is it not fitting to board before the admiral?）"
Lara顺势一个前滚翻蹲住，看到一个很壮的苦工从仓库里走出来。
等他走过去后，Lara用力一敲箱子，想吸引他的注意。
很快就看到壮汉猛地跳过来，Lara却已经悄无声息地绕到他身后，用力一击！
那家伙不愧是军人，反应极快，转身架住了，然后抓住Lara的手拗到背后。Lara向后一个肘击，壮汉吃痛放手，Lara转身顺势一拳，竟将壮汉打晕在地。
Lara跑下坡进入仓库，看看周围，门关上了。
Lara知道事情不妙了，嘀咕道："Hmph，经济舱。（Hmph. Economy class.）"（就是说她必须得在这呆上一会了，不信你看下面发展～）
第五集：在潜艇中（The submarine）
Lara坐在箱子旁，等着把她引入陷阱的人。
门打开了，Yarofev上将带着两名士兵出现在门口。
Yarofev："一位不速之客加入了我们的小任务中。Leonid，请把这位女士护送到紧闭室去。（An unwelcome addition to our little assignment. Leonid, if you would escort this lady to the brig.）"［古墓之神注二十二］
ＬＡＲＡ乖乖地束手就擒，一名士兵上前搜去Lara的武器。
Lara被礼貌地押着，一边往外走，一边说向Yarofev说："你的小任务？你根本不知道你受黑手党资助的任务是什么，对吧？（Your little assignment? You have no idea what your Mafia-financed assignment is, do you?）"
Yarofev："年轻的女士，你是谁以及你知道些什么我毫不关心。如果我还是这艘潜艇的船长，我可能会听你说。但我发现我现在的处境已经不允许我享受那种特权了。所以你最好像个乖女孩一样安静点并赶快走。（Young lady, who you are and what you know is of very little concern to me. If I was captain of my ship I might listen to you, but unfortunately the situation I find myself in doesn't allow me that privilege. So if you'd be quiet and hurry along like a good little girl.）"说着侧身让开路并作个手势请她继续前进。
他们把Lara"请"到一间无人的舱室。一名士兵上前打开门，Yarofev说："请进。（Inside please.）"
Lara一边走进舱室一边对Yarofev说："你正在犯一个严重的错误，你知道么？（You're making a grave mistake. You know that?）"
Yarofev沉默不语。
水兵将门锁上，Yarofev向两人吩咐道："在任何情况下都绝不能开门，明白吗？（Under no circumstances open this door. You understand?）"两个水兵向他敬礼，Yarofev走了。
ＬＡＲＡ透过通风口的木条观察驾驶舱内的情况。
正在使用潜望镜的Mikhailov："是真的吗？我们在那艘沉没的U-boat前了？现在我们看看它的货物是否还原封未动。（Then it is true? We are before the stricken U-boat? Now we find if its cargo is still intact.）"说着他转身面对站在一边的Yarofev。
Yarofev："现在我们可以被告知到底在找什么吗？（And are we to be told what we search for?）"
Mikhailov："足以定位它，是的。至于更多的一些东西，我恐怕你有限的智商不能领会。（Enough to locate it, da. But beyond that I fear it may be too much for your limited intellect to grasp.）" ［古墓之神注二十三］
Yarofev："对我，值得信赖的同志，也许是这样，但对于我们关在船上的间谍可能不是。（Perhaps too much for mine, trusted comrade, but perhaps not for the spy we have located on board.）"
Mikhailov感到惊讶："一个间谍？我相信你已经除掉他了。（A spy? I trust you disposed of him.）"
Yarofev："不是他...是她。确实，我们被迫和狼为伍。但我们不会像它们一样滥杀无辜。（Not him... her. Yes, we are forced to run with wolves but we do not kill indiscriminately like they.）"
Mikhailov："蠢材！我回来时将会处理掉她。快点把潜艇移动到指定位置，亲爱的同志。（Fool! I shall dispose of her when I return. Move the sub into position quickly, comrade.）"
Yarofev一边用潜望镜观察一边发布命令："向后五度，四分之一动力。然后停下来。（Take her five degrees astern, quarter power. Then bring her to a full stop.）"
他按下麦克风开关："所有潜水员注意。马上报告你们的方位。（Attention all dive crews. Report to your stations immediately.）"
Lara说道："是时候扭转局面了。（Time to turn the tables.）"
说着她走到潜水服下半部分前，双手抓住扶手，用力地把身体撑起来，将腿套进裤筒里。
这是潜水服上半部分自动吊过来缓缓落下套住Lara上身。
穿着钢铁潜水服的Lara笨拙地挪向下水处。（我第一次看到有走路比ＷＩＮＳＴＯＮ还慢的人，嘿嘿～）
第六集：深海潜水（Deepsea dive）
ＬＡＲＡ游进一个洞口，终于看到了那个柳条箱。
Lara打开箱子，发现了朗基奴斯之枪的枪尖，不禁叹道："啊，有谁会相信呢。（Ah, who could believe it,）"
这时突然发生洞里开始震动起来。一根钢铁掉下来砸坏了ＬＡＲＡ的潜水服，这样Lara就得不到氧气供应了。
Lara叫道："哎唷！该走了。（Ouch! Time to leave.）"
第七集：下沉中的潜艇（Sinking submarine）
回到核潜艇中的Lara脱掉一身沉重的潜水服，马上取出朗基奴斯之枪枪头准备好好欣赏。
这时Mikhailov带着两名暴徒出现了，暴徒们举枪对准了ＬＡＲＡ。
Mikhailov："啊...不请自来的朋友。我得说很抱歉，但在那你有样东西正是我所需要的。（Ah...our unannounced visitor. I fear you have an item in your possession that I require.）" ［古墓之神注二十四］
Lara拿起朗基奴斯之枪的枪头："我猜你要用它继续你对世界和平的追求。（To be used in your continuing quest for world peace, I presume.）"
Mikhailov："世界和平...那并不完全是我追寻这件神器的目的。（World peace...not entirely my purpose in pursuing this artifact.）"
Lara警告他："这件神器拥有神秘的能量，这种能量不是你这样的人能够掌握的。如果你想要就拿去吧，但是你会后悔的。（This artifact contains untold power-power which the likes of you will never harness. If you wish it, you may have it, but you will regret it.）"
Mikhailov："会后悔的可能是这个世界。把它给我，我也许会宽恕你。（The world may regret it. Hand it over to me and I may spare you.）"
Lara把枪头扔给他："拿去吧。（On your head be it.）"
Mikhailov对手下说："带她去鱼雷室然后把她发射到大海里去。（Take her to the torpedo room and eject her into the ocean.）"
被带走前Lara做最后的努力："Sergei，听我说！你不知道你在做什么。（Sergei, listen to me! You don't know what you're dealing with.）"但只顾着欣赏手中矛尖的Mikhailov根本听不进去。［古墓之神注二十五］
两个壮汉押着Lara走出去，这时突然传来Mikhailov的惨叫声。大家回头看到Mikhailov被奇异的电流缠绕着，漂浮在空中，痛苦地挣扎，叫喊着。
接下来是剧烈的爆炸，潜艇受到强烈冲击，灯全灭了。
黑暗中响起Lara用力时发出的低沉叫声、壮汉的惨叫声和重物倒地声。等灯重新亮起时，两个暴徒已经趴在那里了。但潜艇因为冲击而开始进水，下沉。必须尽快逃离。
Lara旋开左边的舱门走了进去。
受伤的Yarofev坐在水中。Lara立即上前察看他的状况。
Yarofev："我知道老Sergei会得到报应的。他的贪欲感染了我的船，现在我们都命中注定逃不了了。（I knew that old Sergei would be the end of it all. He infects my ship with his greed and now we're all doomed.）"
Lara扭头看看旁边通向救生舱的梯子："我们还有一个机会...救生舱...行动吧，我会帮助你的。（We have a chance...the escape pod...come on. I'll help you.）"
Yarofev："我做这些只是为了我的部下。他透露出（要找的东西是）圣经里提到的朗基奴斯之枪，我才纵容他的疯狂以换取金钱来供养我们的家人。可现在...变成这样...都等着喂鱼吧。（I do this only to help my men. He babbles of the Biblical spear and I feed his madness for money to feed our families. And now...to this...corpses left for the fishes.）"［古墓之神注二十六］
Lara着急地抓着他的衣服，并摇动他的身体："Yarofev，我能帮助你，但你得帮助我。等这舰艇撞到海床上，那就是我们的死期了。我们必须赶紧。（Yarofev, I can help you but you must help me. The ship is about to impact into the ocean bed and then our time is up. We must hurry.）"说着她站了起来。
Yarofev一边咳嗽一边说："救生舱没有空气供给。你会在我的特等舱里找到氧气罐。（The escape pods have no internal air supply. You will find oxygen tanks in my stateroom.）"
他一边说一边取出一把银钥匙递给Lara，然后继续说："我听得出我的船快完了，内部密封材料正在裂开。你得快点。（I hear my ship dying. The internal seals are splintering.ＨＵＲＲＹ ＵＰ！）"
LARA将救生舱所需的氮气瓶和氧气瓶都安装好后，就爬下梯子，伸手去拉Yarofev。
没想到Yarofev一把打开她的手："不！没时间了。船壳已经破裂，我们很快就会被淹死。你有了氧气就快逃吧，马上！（Nyet! No time. The hull is breached and we will drown soon. With the oxygen you escape. Now!）" ［古墓之神注二十七］
Lara："你不走我也不走。（Not without you.）"
Yarofev："我是庄严的俄罗斯海军上将。我已经为我的伟大祖国效力了许多年。但我知道她已经衰落了。熊躺下来等待它的最终命运。我希望这些年一直陪伴着我的，这艘我热爱的潜水艇，以及潜水艇上的船员们，也将迎来同样的命运。（I am admiral of the Russian Imperial Navy. I have served my great country for many years. But the country I know withers. The bear lies down to sleep for its final time. And I wish also this fate on the ship I have grown to love.）"［古墓之神注二十八］
Lara："没有任何条件（可以让你和我一起走了吗）。（No deal.）"
Yarofev："是的，条件！密封过渡舱的外部只能从舰艇内部打开。这是我给你的礼物，孩子。我放你到远离这垂死舰艇的未来去。（Yes, deal! For the outer airlock can only be opened from inside the ship. This is my gift to you, child. I release you to a future beyond this dying vessel.）"（真感动）
Lara在他身边蹲下："那么我应该给你什么礼物呢？（And my gift to you?）"
Yarofev："讲述我的故事。讲述骄傲的俄罗斯海军士兵们如何跟内部的敌人战斗并牺牲了他们的生命，这样他们的亲爱祖国可以再次自豪地站立。（Tell my story. Tell how the proud men of the Russian navy fought against the enemy from inside and sacrificed their lives so their dear country might once again stand proud.）"（太感动了！）
Lara站起来："我给你我的承诺。（You have my word.）"
Yarofev："我向你敬礼。快点！进入密封过渡舱，我会把你送出去。（I salute you. Quickly! Into the airlock and I will release you.）"
Lara爬上梯子，中途扭头说道："再见，海军上将。（Goodbye, Admiral.）"Lara爬上梯子，舱盖关上了。
Lara乘坐的救生舱迅速冲向海面。
准备和他的船一起下沉的Yarofev坐在驾驶舱的地上，奇异的白光流进来并向他接近，他惊讶地凝视着白光。
白光笼罩了一切。
等在船上接应的Jean Yves从雷达屏幕上看到信号，就拿起狙击枪跑出去，打开镜瞄准浮上来的救生舱。
透过救生舱的玻璃，他看到了Lara的脸。
第三部分：爱尔兰小岛
第八集：绞架（Gallows tree）
Lara的书房。
Jean Yves凝视着窗外的倾盆大雨："Lara已经充分地了解了这件神器的能量并认识到它正确的位置应该是在人们永不能再误用它的地方。（Lara saw enough of the power of this artifact to recognize its rightful place was where man could never again misuse it.）"
Patrick神父："但对朗基奴斯之枪来说，它还不足以消灭ＬＡＲＡ。某些能量超过人的智慧。（But not enough for it to destroy her. Some powers are beyond the wit of man.）"
突然一道闪电，灯灭了。
Winston："噢，亲爱的先生们，我很抱歉。看来天上的某人有些幽默感。请稍等片刻，我去取蜡烛。（Oh dear, gentlemen. I do apologize. It seems someone up above has a sense of humor. If you will excuse me a moment I shall fetch candles.）"
Jean Yves："这是一个被地狱鞭策的夜晚。（It's a night spurred by Hell.）"
Patrick神父："当骑士赶着牲畜不断向前跨越这个世界的时候，天神们跟着一片沸腾。（And as the horsemen drover ever onward across the world, the heavens boiled in their wake.）" ［古墓之神注二十九］
Jean Yves转过身来，惊讶道："啊。（Ah.）"
Patrick神父摊手道："宗教教育的好处。（Benefits of a religious education.）"
LARA家的客厅，炉火在安静地燃烧。
Jean-Yves独自一人在窗边欣赏屋外难得的雨景。（说实话，我最爱看的是山雨欲来风满楼的景象。倾盆大雨只是第二。）
Patrick神父走到窗边，看着屋外的倾盆大雨："这样的夜晚让我想起了在Connussie的时候。（This night reminds me of the time out at Connussie.）"
Jean-Yves："Winston的老家？（Winston's Home?）"
Patrick神父："嗯，对。当时Lara还是一个瘦小的女孩。由于洪水泛滥，Lara暂时与Winston和他夫人一同住在Winston的老家。事实上联系我的是Winston的夫人。有个岛屿上出现了一些问题。神秘的亮光。鬼魂在显灵。诸如此类。（Indeed! Yes,The staff had taken leave due to flooding. Lara, back when she was a slip of a girl, was staying with Winston and his wife. It was her that contacted me, as a matter of fact. Some trouble out at one of the islands. Weird lights. Manifestations. That sort of thing.）"
这时一道闪电。边上的一棵树应声而断。
［画面切换到过去。苏格兰一个小镇上，Winston简陋的房子。］
Patrick神父继续说道："他们叫我过去是觉得我可能可以帮忙。那时的夜晚也是像今晚一样如地狱般，我到了那。（Thought I might be able to help, It was on a hellish night like this when I arrived.）"
如Patrick神父所说，那里同样是雷雨交加。
房间里的床上坐着一个穿着绿色短裤和白色T恤的女孩子，16岁的Lara。她把睡衣放在身边，然后准备脱下T恤。
就在我们以为能看到香艳场景的时候，她突然停下了。前门有动静。显然她感到好奇，是什么人在这样的夜晚造访。
进门来的人一身黑色长袍。他摘下同样黑色的宽檐帽，一张帅气的脸。那显然是年轻时的Bram Patrick Patrick神父。
Patrick神父："晚上好，Winston，我能帮上些什么忙？（Evenin' Winston, and how would I be able to help?）"
Winston请Patrick神父一同在桌子边面对面坐下。Patrick神父继续说道："那么，人们真的在那个岛上看到了幽灵？（So people have seen these apparitions out at the island?）"
Winston："在这个村庄几乎所有人都在谈论此事，Bram。我已经尽自己最大的力气不让Lara知道。（There's talk of little else in the village, Bram. I'm doing all I can to keep this gossip from Lara.）" ［古墓之神注三十］
可是Lara已经悄悄把她卧室的门打开一些，偷听着两人的谈话。
Patrick神父："嗯，聪明的做法。如果让她出于好奇心到那里去将是很不明智的。（Aye, yet would be a wise man, It would be unwise for her curiosity to draw her to that place.）"
Winston："那么关于这件事你有什么主意？（And you have some idea of what it could be?）"
Patrick神父："老实告诉你，没有。但当无所事事的恶魔蠢蠢欲动的时候，我也和Finnegan神父谈过，我包了一艘船，准备今天深夜去那里看看。（To be frank with you, no, But as the devil finds work for idle hands, I've spoken with Father Finnegan, and I have a boat chartered for the crossing late on this very evening.）"
Winston担心地说道："我的老天，Bram！你一定要在深夜去吗？（Good Lord, Bram! You have not chosen the evening for it?）"
Patrick神父："我的信仰会保护我的，Winston。（I have my faith to protect me, Winston.）"
Winston："小心点，Bram，我担心在那个岛上会有你看不见的东西伤害你。（Be careful, I fear that on that island it is what you cannot see that will hurt you, Bram.）"
Patrick神父坚毅地站起来说："是查明真相的时候了，老朋友。（Time to get to the bottom of this, old friend.）"
这时Lara慢慢掩上门，轻快地跑到窗台上，灵活地用单手撑起自己，跃出窗户。
Patrick神父上了一艘小船，和Winston挥手道别。他不会知道Lara已经躲在帆布下面。
小船驶向波涛汹涌的大海。雷雨交加。闪电打在前面的小岛上，小船向那里驶去。
Patrick神父一上岸，船便赶紧开走了。神父走到一面石壁前，操作隐蔽的开关使一块大石移动开来露出通道。
这一切都被已经上岸并躲在码头的Lara看在眼里。
好奇心是把双刃剑，Lara。
Lara往前走下台阶，忽然钟声响起，吓了她一大跳。
Lara扭头望向左后方钟楼，钟声来自那里。她回过头来，摸了摸右手手臂，似乎在不自觉地发冷。（我们的Lara也有不安的时候～）
正当她左右张望时，忽然听到一声像是雷声的异响。她回过头来，只见火堆照耀下，枯树上忽然出现一具僵尸！
只见这僵尸身体多处腐烂，左手的手腕不见了，胸口开了一个恶心的大洞，脖子被悬吊着，不住地在风中摇摆。面对这种情景，世上不知道有几人能够不被吓得晕了过去，而Lara却还能保持冷静。
僵尸开口说道："孩子，过来，走近点，我有礼物给你。（Come child. Come closer for I have gifts for thee.）"
Lara谨慎地回答："我会待在这里。（I'll stay where I am.）"
僵尸发出怪异的干笑："别为我的外表而畏惧。它只是我不安灵魂的容器。（Fear not this visage. It is but a vessel for my troubled spirit.）"
它艰难地呼吸了一口气："Hsst...你最好走近点，我像被屠宰过的肉一样被吊着，不会有什么危险。（Hsst.. Come closer for you are safe while I am hung like so much butchered meat.）"
Lara问道："你......是什么人？（Who......are you?）"
僵尸回答道："什么人？Hmm...更像是什么东西。（我这东西还）受到了不得不徘徊在人类王国和自然力量之间的惩罚。Hmm...我必须抓紧提出我的请求。Hsst...因为他们在监视着，等着把我再次拉回到黑暗里。（Who? Hmm... For it is more like what. Condemned to wander between the kingdoms of man and that of the elementals. Hmm... But I must be swift in my request. Hsst... For they watch and wait to once more draw me back into the darkness.） ［古墓之神注三十一］
"请求？（Request?）"Lara问道。
"我的心，小女孩，（My heart, girl,）"僵尸不耐烦地说："他们把我石化了的心藏在这棵世界之树。（They have hidden my petrified heart in this, the World Tree.）"
它指着地面："在下面，处于凶恶的Neadhog警惕的凝视下。Hmm...找到它，孩子，让它回到它正确的安息之地。（Down under the watchful gaze of the dragon, Neadhog. Hmm... Find this, my child, and return it to its rightful resting place.）"
它又指指自己胸口的大洞，然后继续说："Hsst...你将会得到报答！（Hsst... And you shall be rewarded!）"
Lara："凭什么我要相信你？（And why on earth should I trust you?）"
"不是在世上，小女孩，（Not on earth, girl,）"僵尸回答道："是在中间。（In between.）" ［古墓之神注三十二］
它笑着，咳嗽着："我的灵魂已经离去，它的情况如何，无人知晓也无人关心。（Hmm...My soul is gone and how it fares nobody knows and nobody cares.Hmm...）"
僵尸再次笑起来，放声大笑。接着又是一声异响，僵尸消失了。枯树枝上还缠绕着绳索。
Lara身后的那道门打开了，她了走进去。
门的那边，Patrick神父正朝着地上一个洞口说："回到你的梦境吧。她只是个孩子，不会影响你，你同样也不可以影响她。（Go back to your slumberings. This is but a child, and she shall not cross your path as you shall not cross hers.）"。

Patrick神父可不怕它，马上靠近洞口："我在这儿了，我有个礼物给你，你这坏脾气的可怜虫。（I am here now, And I have a gift for you, you cantankerous worm.）"
Lara走过去，看到他把什么东西给扔了下去。
下面传来痛苦的叫声，然后听到一个愤怒的声音："啊！诅咒你，牧师！如果你活到世界末日，你将比这世界多燃烧一个星期！我发誓！（Arrgh! Curse you priest! If you live till doomsday you shall burn a week longer than the world! I swear!）"
Patrick神父径直转向Lara："铁，从没有哪个恶魔碰到它而不被灼伤的。（Iron. Never found a demon yet that doesn't burn at its touch.）"
Lara问道："这个洞里有什么？（What was in the hole?）"
Patrick神父："在这...（In the...）"
神父顿了一下，马上改变话题："那不用你担心，你究竟在这干什么？算了，不劳烦你的回答，我们等会再讨论这个问题。现在我们得把你带到某个安全的地方直到早上。你的傲慢使你必须得在那儿呆上一回，小姐。（Nevermind that, What on earth are you doing here? No, don't bother, We'll get on to that later. Right now we need to get you out to somewhere safe until the morning. That's assuming you'll stay in once place, young lady.）"
"没有魔鬼，对吧？（Nothing with demons, right?）"Lara说。
Patrick神父："好吧，在这个被上帝遗弃的地方我无法承诺任何事。我会照亮路线并走在前面，清除所有不受欢迎的来客。当你出去后，到桥那头的小礼拜堂去。我会在那儿等你。（Well, I can't promise anything in this God-forsaken place. I'll light the way and go on ahead to clear out any unwelcome guests. Now once you're out, head to the chapel over the bridge. I'll meet you there. ）"
神父一边继续说一边走开："把礼貌待物给忘记吧。不要跟陌生的东西谈话。如果遇到任何东西，相信我，技巧在这里是没什么用处。铁，女孩。用铁来击退它们。礼堂上见。运用你的智慧。（I'm forgetting me manners.Don't speak to strange things and if there's anything around, and trust in me skills in this area there shouldn't be. Iron, girl. Use iron to repel 'em. See you on top. Keep your wits about you.）"
第九集：迷宫（Labyrinth）
Lara走进人形棺后的通道。
原来通道的后面是个坡，Lara没有注意到，结果摔倒在地。
突然有火光出现。Lara吃惊地朝火光望去。
Patrick神父。而且他的头发......白色？！
神父显然对Lara是又好气又好笑："好家伙。是我啊。如果不是你让我大吃一惊，我已经完成了需要完成的任务了，Lara。（Good Lord, girl. It's me. I have enough on my plate without you making me jump out of my skin. Lara.）"
他将Lara拉起来。Lara看着他的白发："你的头发...（Your hair...）"
Patrick神父摸着自己的头发："我的头发怎么啦？（What about me hair?）"
Lara："它...变白了！（It's... white!）"
Patrick神父："嗯...我想是的。我被一些来自地狱的讨厌家伙缠住了，吓得够呛，这就是我没有在小礼拜堂的原因。但我却能看到你仍在忙碌。不管怎样，让我们离开这里，到安全的地方去。（Hmm... Aye. That'd be right, I was detained by some unpleasant fellows from down below. Gave me quite a fright, That's why I wasn't at the chapel, but I can see you've kept yourself busy. Anyways, let's get you outta here, and back to safety.）"
Lara听话地跟着Patrick神父往外走去。
第十集：旧磨坊（Old mill）
两人走出通道来到山坡上,天上仍然下着雨。天边出现了一抹美丽的晚霞。
诡异之地总是有奇妙的魅力。
Patrick神父边走边对Lara说："好吧，年轻的女士，现在我得赶紧去找个安全的地方把你安顿下来。你就呆在这里，不然你也会遇到什么东西使你的头发变白了。那并非我们所希望的，是吧？（Right, young lady, I'm going to have a quick look around now for a safe place to put you. Now you stay put, or you'll be banging into something that'll make your hair turn white. And we wouldn't be wanting that now, would we?）"
终于有机会开口了，Lara赶紧提起刚才找到的那本寓言集："神父，我在迷宫里发现了一本书。（Father, I found a book in the labyrinth.）"
可能是被可爱的小Lara给气昏了头，Patrick神父毫不重视寓言集并且出言讽刺："你是到这儿观光来啦？我的上帝，全能的小女孩！我还得需要找点东西把你给栓起来呢。（You've been sight-seeing in there as well? Good Lord, almighty girl! I'll be needin' to chain ya to something.）" ［古墓之神注三十三］
Lara可怜兮兮地试图让神父带着书："这上面有起保护作用的符号，也许你用得上的。（It has protective symbols, Maybe you can use them.）"
Patrick神父拒绝了："感谢你的好意，不过上天已经给予我足够的保护。如果想让那个图形起什么作用的话，你得画在地上然后坐在它的中间。但你知道，今晚我把所有彩笔都留在家里了。现在，如果在遇到更大的麻烦之前你能够乖乖呆在这里的话，那可真是帮了我个大忙。（Bless you for the thought, but I've enough protection from Him above, And for that diagram to be any good you'd have to draw it out and be sittin' in the middle of it. And you know something, I've left all me coloring pens at home tonight. Now, you'll be doing me a big favor if you were to stay put before you bang into something bigger than you.）"
发觉做错了事的小Lara点头道："呆在这里，是！（Stay put. Right!）"
想让小Lara乖乖的呆着？老天！
她一定会闯祸的，相信我。即使出于善意。（这真的是太像卫斯理了）
Lara走到深色石板处，拿出白垩石在石板上画起寓言集上的符咒来。
不料骑士出现在山坡上，发出低沉的吼声。Lara赶紧继续，但是在她完全画好之前骑士已经骑马冲了过来。
Lara往旁边一让，抬头只看到一匹马跑过，而鞍上无人。Lara察觉到了什么，转头就看到骑士高举长剑劈了下来。
Lara已不及躲避，这时人影一闪，"叮"一声，长剑斩在石板上。Patrick神父！他抱着Lara闪到一旁了。
Patrick神父推开Lara，让她往路的尽头跑去，自己来应付这可怕的恶魔。骑士一手拎起可怜的Patrick神父，掉转剑柄将他敲晕过去，然后将他放上马鞍，策马上坡离去。
Lara无奈地看着这一幕，无能为力。
没办法，事已至此，只有尽力做什么去挽回。该责备或者该赞扬都是事后之事。
Lara来到一个旧磨坊前。
骑士骑着马从前面的谷仓里冲出来，停在水坑边，下马一手揪住马背上可怜的Patrick神父的头发，让他抬起头来，然后把剑放在Patrick神父的脖子旁，说道："是谁站在我的面前？离第一个人到我的监禁地来看我的那时候，已经过去七百年了。（Who is this that stands before me? The first to visit me in my prison seven hundred years past.）"
"七百年了？（Seven hundred years?）"神父调侃他，"一直单独呆在谷仓里？哈，那些冬天的夜晚一定很好受吧。（All alone in a barn? Huh, those winter nights must have just flown by.）"
骑士愤怒地说道："闭嘴，愚昧的异端，否则我砍下你的头！（Silence, ignorant heretic, or I behead you!）"说着他将Patrick神父拉下马摔在地上。
Patrick神父痛苦地叫道："噢！（Oof!）"Lara急忙道："放了他！（Leave him be!）"
骑士咯咯笑道："有勇气的孩子。但是当这个岛上散落着英勇的圣者们的骨头时，勇气又算什么？那就是我给他们的礼物，因为他们的勇气阻碍我索还自己那份应得的遗产。（For the child has spirit, but what is that when this island is littered with the bones of holy men. My gift to them for their spirit in obstructing me from claiming my rightful inheritance.）"
Patrick神父说道："我猜，这些遗产也许可以从某方面说明早该死去多时的你仍然可以走动和呼吸的原因。（And this inheritance, I would wonder, would be some way to explain why your walking and breathing when you should be gone long past?）"
骑士说道："那些遗产是永恒生命的赠品，包括了一个上古卷轴，一个一直被愚蠢的修道院院长和他的同伙们隐藏着的上古卷轴。那个卷轴导致苍白的恶魔之血流过我的血管，我不再是人。我一只脚踩在地上，另一只脚踩在地狱里遍布洞穴的深渊上方。（The inheritance is the gift of eternal life. Contained within an ancient scroll, concealed by the dullard Abbot and his cohorts. The scroll which draws forth pale demon blood through my veins. I am no longer man, I have one foot on the earth and one foot above the gaping abyss of Hades.）"
Patrick神父继续开它玩笑："那为什么留在这个岛上？来度假然后喜欢上了这里的风景？（So why stay on the island? Came for a holiday and fell in love with the scenery?）"
骑士非常生气，狠狠地踩了Patrick神父一脚，吼道："闭上你的狗嘴！还是要我夹住你的舌头！（Hold your yapping tongue for want I clip it!）"说着一边抬脚踢了他一下，然后激动地说道："让疔疮和瘟疫袭击这个岛屿和它背信弃义的居民！因为他们和他们该死的小修道院院长，企图把我永远的关在这个地牢里。（Boils and plagues plaster over this island and its treacherous inhabitants! For it was they, and their ox little abbot, who plotted to incarcerate me in this dungeon hall for an eternity.）"
他把剑举在胸前："我，Vladimir Kaleta！一个最初在克里姆林宫受到崇敬的人，一个在涅瓦河［背景知识：涅瓦河 涅瓦河战役］畔屠杀瑞典人和Nevsky［背景知识：亞歷山大．涅夫斯基］的人，却被关在这个流水监狱里！（I, Vladimir Kaleta, who worshipped in the first Kremlin, who butchered the Swede and the Nevsky on the banks of the River Neva. Incarcerated within this prison of flowing water!）" ［古墓之神注三十四］
说到最后，他的手垂下来，抬头望天。
Lara从骑士的话中捕捉到了个重要信息，兴奋起来："流水...你被流水困在这里！（Running water... You're trapped here by running water!）"
Patrick神父抬起头来，证实这一点："魔鬼不能越过流水。（Demons cannot cross running water.）"
骑士说道："没错。这是修道院长在我转生之前设下的最后圈套。（Indeed. The abbot's final trick before I was transformed.）"
他转向威胁Lara："你得想个方法解决这些溪流，否则你的神父将像牲畜一样被开膛破肚。（And you shall find a way to shore up this stream or your holy man shall be opened up and gutted like live stock.）"
说完他又将Patrick神父粗鲁地摔回马背上，然后上马进谷仓里去了。
水车停了，水也完全停止了流动。
邪恶的骑士冲出大屋，在马上手舞足蹈，兴奋地呼喊着。然后他跳下马来，对Patrick神父说："你的孩子做得很好。这么多年来我第一次尝到了自由的滋味。你该害怕我了吗？你真是个虔诚的神父，也许我应该学着像上帝一样仁慈？（Your child has done her job well, and I taste freedom for the first time in an eon. You will now fear me? For you have served your purpose well holy man, and for this should I exercise mercy as a god might?）"
Patrick神父继续调侃他："那当然很好，但我不会屏住呼吸的。（Now that'd be nice, but I'm not holdin' me breath.）" ［古墓之神注三十五］
骑士将他从马上拉下来，一只手提起他："是的。我会宽恕你。放心，你将会有比死亡还糟糕的命运。当你离开这个世界的时候，天堂不再欢迎你，因为你曾经释放了一个魔鬼。（Yes, I shall spare, and secure for you a fate worse than death! For when you pass beyond this world, Heaven shall no longer welcome you, for you have released a demon.）"
Patrick神父："在象你这样软弱的魔鬼面前，我的信仰会保护我的。（My faith will protect me from feckless lesser demons as yourself.）"
这句话显然让骑士很恼火，骑士用头猛地一撞Patrick神父的脸，然后将他重重地扔了出去，神父撞到门上摔倒在地。
从小屋里出来的Lara正好目睹这一幕，她焦急地叫："神父！（Father!）"
骑士望向Lara："啊，那孩子。我会让她的生命像蜡烛一样熄灭。（Ah! The child. I shall snuff out her life as a candle.）"说着持剑向Lara走去。
神父由于被殴打而声音显得很疲惫，但他还是赶紧提醒Lara："迷宫里的那本书...（The book from the labyrinth...）"Lara面对邪恶的骑士，害怕地一步一步往后退开。神父这时又道："名字...读出那些名字。（The names... Read out the names.）"
Lara从背包里取出那本寓言集，慌忙念道："Askeroth. Aqueil. Arrancula. Belial. Bucom. Boliath."
这时骑士已经逼得很近，Lara颤声对神父喊道："救命！（Help me!）"
Patrick神父鼓励她："继续读，孩子，你差不多就读到了。（Keep reading, girl, you're almost there.）"
Lara勉强继续读下去："Camos."然后跳过一些名字："Masteflou."骑士挥剑劈下！
就在这时，又是Patrick神父！他扑上来从背后抱住骑士，骑士用力将神父甩开，继续逼向Lara。
被撞倒的Lara重新翻开书继续念道："Verdilet."
骑士高举长剑，正准备劈下，听到名字却突然停住了。他慌张地喊道："怎么回事？我怎么砍不下去！（How is this? I move to strike and yet cannot!）"任凭他怎么费劲，可是他的身体再也无法动弹一丝一毫。
Patrick神父走过来："你做得很好，孩子。哦，不用你问，让我告诉你。你拿的这本书，我曾经找过，但是找不到。我当时就猜是你拿到了，幸运的是，你的确拿到了！（You've done well, girl, and before you ask, I'll tell ya. The book you've got, I myself was looking fer it, but as I couldn't find it, assumed you had it, and lucky ya did!）"
Lara还是不明白："但这是怎么做到的？（But how?）"
Patrick神父解释道："如果你叫出一个魔鬼的名字，你就有了超越他的力量，而你叫了！就是你的呼喊，Lara。（If you name a demon, you have power over it, and you named him! It's your shout, Lara.）"
愤怒的骑士诅咒Lara："你会永远被焚烧！我要挤出你的五脏六腑，然后把你塞到它们里面去！（For this you shall burn for eternity! I shall drown you in a mire of your own entrails before I squeeze!）" ［古墓之神注三十六］
Lara不耐烦地扭头命令道："安静。（Be quiet.）"骑士马上说不出话来了。（哈哈，刚才还怕得要死，现在就藐视人家了~看来被抓住把柄真是一件不那么令人开心的事~ :toothy10:）
Patrick神父："看来我们可以离开这个被上帝遗弃的地方，去跟温斯顿喝上一杯香浓的茶了。（What ye reckon we get out of this God-forsaken place and go and get a nice cup of tea with Winston?）"
Lara正要走，神父又说道："差点忘了，你不想和我们的小朋友挥手告别吗？（Almost forgot, would you be wantin' to wave goodbye to our little friend?）" :laughing11:
Lara扭头，对骑士一甩手："你属于哪，就回到哪去吧！（Back to where you belong!）"
Lara和Patrick神父坐着小船离开幽灵岛时已是凌晨。
天已大亮，天气也变得晴朗起来。
Patrick神父搭着她的肩膀："我想，你已经从这件事情上受到一些有价值的教训了。（And you'll have learned a few valuable lesions from that, I be thinkin'.）" ［古墓之神注三十七］
Lara："你说得对，神父。（You'd be thinking right, Father.）"
第四部分：VCI高科技大楼 [古墓之神注三十八]
人人都说5代印象最深刻的是那个爱尔兰小岛的鬼魂，而我却觉得其实这个部分给我的印象更深刻。现在7代已经出了，可以看得出有些借鉴了这个部分的吧~有个说话的人确实有趣多了。（不过如果是探险的话，有个人指手划脚的话那就讨厌了......）
这个部分就放在CROE所出的一到五代来说，也是非常新颖的。而且难度还不那么低哦。没必要惹的敌人就跑吧，一定要节约~
第十一集：第十三层（The 13th floor）
劳拉的书房。
Patrick神父将往事回忆完毕，他总结："她的好奇心最终导致了她的失败。（Her curiosity was eventually her failing.）"
Jean-Yves换了个话题："她所选择的道路正是她所热爱的，对此我们应该赞美而不是悲伤。（The path she chose was the path she loved, and for this we should celebrate, not grieve.）"
接着他又谈起Von Croy："但我倒更担心Von Croy。他被心魔驱策，几乎疯狂地搜寻lara的安息之地，在找到之前他不允许自己得到一丝安宁。（Although I fear for Von Croy. Pursuing his inner demons. Driven half to madness in his quest for her final resting place. He will not find peace in himself until this is complete.）"
［画面切换到埃及］靠在金字塔旁的Von Croy正抬起头来，面无表情，目光呆滞，转身缓慢地向挖掘现场走去。才隔数日，他看来却老了许多。他优秀学生LARA的死给他造成的打击实在太大了。
［画面切换到劳拉的秘密收藏室前］Jean-Yves兴奋地开玩笑道："啊！臭名昭著的战利品存放室，你一定有巧妙的方法进去。对吗，Winston？（Ah! The infamous trophy room, and you will be doing the acrobatics to enter, Winston? Yes?）"
Winston答道："Miss Croft确实很满意她的小把戏。（Miss Croft did enjoy her little games.）"说着将壁灯的一个灯枝转动了一下，把门打开。
Winston继续说道："它在这里，先生们。就是这件神器导致了Croft小姐和Von Croy之间的仇恨。最终一切都在这件可怕的事情中结束了。（And here it is, gentlemen. The artifact which lead to the animosity between Miss Croft and Von Croy. Ending ultimately in this terrible business.）"
他揭开一块沾满灰尘的布，在玻璃盒子中旋转着的"彩虹女神"发出的光彩照亮了房间。 [背景知识：仇恨与彩虹女神]
［画面切换到回忆模式］高楼前停着一辆黑色货车，车内摆放着许多仪器。"彩虹女神"的3D图形显示在计算机的屏幕上。
黑人男子Zip指着屏幕上的彩虹女神，对着头戴式麦克风说道："好了， Miss Croft。恕我冒昧，有些通讯不良。但看来你已经在工业大楼上了，对吗？要去取我们的小奖励，彩虹女神了？（Okay Miss Croft, I'm presuming, by the lack of communication that you're at Industries' building, right? Containing our little prize? The Iris?）"
这座高楼有巨大的V标记。在对面高楼顶上，劳拉抓着滑翔机等待着。 [古墓之神注三十九]
劳拉回答ZIP："确实如此。（Affirmative.）"
那黑人说道："很好！现在就是你擅长的了，是吧？是时候换个屋顶了。（Right! Now this is what you're good at, yeah? Time to switch roofs.）"
劳拉回道："换个屋顶？在楼下当然说得轻巧，你不觉得么？（Switch roofs? Easy to say from the ground floor. Wouldn't you agree?）"
黑人急道："趁现在赶快！在顶部的边缘着陆。开着那个高杆，反正诸如此类的。是时候博取Zip的欢呼了。（C'mon now! Stiff upper lip. Top pole, and all that. Time to get hip with Zip.）"
劳拉低头看看别在腰带上的计时器，是晚上10点09分。她干脆地说道："走了。（Gone.）"然后抓住滑翔机滑向对面楼顶。

突然，一阵强风袭来！劳拉差点被吹得上不到楼顶。还好她脚刚刚好踩在边缘，就赶紧往前一倒，放下滑翔机，摔倒在楼顶上。
摔倒时的碰撞使得麦克风里产生了尖锐的噪音，ZIP夸张地大叫："哟！Jimi Hendrix回来啦！ Lara？你在吗， Lara？Croft？你收到了吗？（Yow! Jimi Hendrix is back! Lara? You there, Lara? Croft? Are you getting' this?）" [背景知识：Jimi Hendrix]
劳拉不管他，自顾自拉着绳子从高楼侧面下去，脚一蹬荡开来，放下去一些，就这样慢慢下降。途中她回复Zip："我在飞。（Fly me.）"
Zip急道："伙计，刚才是一股气流！发生了什么？（Geez, now that was a blast! What the hell happened?）"
劳拉已经降到通风口处，她用力一瞪，然后在荡向通风口时腾出一只手拔出枪来，跟Zip说到："别担心，美国佬，我正进去。（Never mind, Yankee, I'm going in.）"说着开枪精确地射落固定通风口盖子的三颗螺丝，使盖子垂了下来。 [古墓之神注四十]
就这样劳拉正好落入了通风口，她滑下去来到通风管道内。（嘿，这告诉我们无论是逃跑还是潜入，通风管道都是个明智的选择~ :laughing11:）
通风管道内。
劳拉跟Zip联系："我进来了。（I'm in.）"（劳拉和Zip通话时会把手放在放在耳边。这时无法控制，过一会儿通话完毕才会恢复正常。这种通话在整个第四部分有非常多。这时请耐心等待，不要乱按键。有些朋友在这里会遇到劳拉一直都动不了的情况，我不知道具体的原因，可能是显卡或者驱动程序的问题，可以改成软件加速模式看看。嘿，这个模式七代可给搬走啦~）
Zip说："好，现在让我们来看看你能做些什么。顺着通风道到主过道去。你进入的是第十三层，有点儿不走运。（Okay now lets see what you can do. Follow the vent to the main corridor. You've come in at the thirteenth floor. Unlucky for some,）"
劳拉："不走运是他们。有欢迎派对吗？（Unlucky for them. Any welcome party?）"
Zip："那是你的工作，女孩。我可不是那个有透视眼的超级英雄。（That's your job, girl. I ain't no X-ray vision super-hero.）" [古墓之神注四十一]
劳拉自信地说："我注意到了最后那个词。（I'd noticed the last bit.）"
Zip："噢，你这么急着找死啊。记住，引起的注意越少越好。你明白了吗？（Oooh, you are so sharp you're gonna cut yourself, Just remember. The less attention the better. You dig?）"
劳拉："谢谢，但是我已经左耳进右耳出了。（Thanks, but that thought had crossed my mind.）"
Zip："要确定是你在行的，女士。（Just makin' sure you're on the ball, lady.）" [古墓之神注四十二]
劳拉中断谈话："说得够多了。如果你看到什么再联系我。（Enough talk. Contact me if you see anything.）"
Zip最后自言自语道："哟！这女孩态度真差。（Whew! That girl has got one bad attitude.）"
劳拉继续往前爬，透过左边铁条窗看到房间里地上有朵黄金玫瑰，红色的柜子旁挂着一件装甲。
劳拉对着麦克风说道："你了解这个吗？（You getting this?）"
Zip答道："哇奥，宝贝！我太了解了，看来像是注射了类固醇的大个子（穿的）。（Whoa baby! I'm getting too much of that. Looks like the Hulk on steroids.）"
劳拉："你打算告诉我它放在这里干什么用吗？（You want to tell me what it's doing here?）"
Zip答道："不能确定，我听说VCI正在生产一些新的军用制服。（Couldn't be sure, I hear that VCI is working on some new suit for the military.）"
这时门打开了，伴随着像个机器人般沉重的脚步声，一个穿着那种制服的男子走进房间。
Zip说道："那个，（看起来）像妈妈的苹果派，毫无疑问不是民用保护（装备）。（And that, sure as mom's apple pie, ain't no civilian protection.）"
劳拉表示同意："（这点）无可争辩。（Can't argue with that.）"
那个男子走到红色柜子处，按下按钮打开了柜子，从里面伸出的圆形架子上的多把样式特别的武器中拿了两把。
劳拉问道："那么这些枪呢？（And the guns?）"
Zip："嗯，我的图像不全是那么清晰，但它看来像低频激光武器。有限射程。（如果）你中了一枪，他们就不得不把你盛在塑料袋里拿出去了。（Well, my picture ain't all that clear, but it looks like low frequency laser weapons. Limited range. You get in the way of one, and they'll have to take you out in a plastic sack.）"
劳拉说道："了解。（I get the picture.）"
劳拉爬上梯子，往前走去。途中透过右边铁窗看到大房间内的彩虹女神，但是它被电场保护着。
劳拉耳机里传来Zip的惊呼："噢！你得变成一只蜘蛛降下去。那简直像在烤面包。（Whoo! You'll get a spider dropping there and it's toast.）"
劳拉吩咐道："给我找出办法关掉它。（Find me some way to turn this off.）"
Zip："别紧张，我在处理。（Don't get your knickers in a twist. I'm on the case.）" [古墓之神注四十三]
劳拉："看看我得做些什么。（Look what I have to work with.）"
Zip："别挑剔，女士。我是你的眼睛和耳朵。（Don't knock it, Lady. I'm your eyes and ears.）" [古墓之神注四十四]
劳拉："少说话多做事会更令人欣赏。（More of those and less of the lip would be preferable.）"
劳拉收起枪，走到尽头，趴下一个翻滚落在过道里。
右边有台可乐自动贩卖机，那后面有三道激光束挡路，无法通过。劳拉拔枪射碎前方低矮的通道口的破损铁板，爬进去，拐弯后起身射碎前面出口处的铁板，然后往前爬出去。
透过右边守卫室的玻璃，一名守卫靠在椅子上睡大觉。
这时耳机里传来Zip的声音："搜查一下那里，劳拉！这守卫完全不关心公司安全，竟然睡得像个婴儿一样。某人——我是说，某位曲线优美的人士，刚好可以悄悄进去，从他鼻子底下把那张ID卡拿走。（Check it out, man! No regard for company security. Sleeping like a baby. Somebody could just glide in and slide that ID card out from under his nose. Somebody slinky, that is.）"
劳拉爬过低矮的通道，起身往前走上铁桥，低头看到下面有个穿装甲的守卫。
当继续往前走到铁桥中间时耳机里Zip说："啊哦，你将不得不做一些特别的动作来越过这个四分卫。（Uh oh! You're going to have to play some fancy moves to get past this quarterback.）" [古墓之神注四十五] （晕，ZIP来了个中国地方方言......）
劳拉问道："你有什么建议吗？任何转移他注意力的办法？（You got any suggestions? Anything to distract him?）"
Zip答道："我正有个建议：找条别的路出去！既然你不想知道当你惹那大个子发狂时会发生什么事。（I got a suggestion right here: Go find a different way out! 'Cuz you don't want to know what happens when you make the Hulk mad.）"
有说跟没说一样。劳拉讽刺道："你总是提供那些绝对必要的信息啊。（Indispensable information as always.）"（哈哈哈哈哈 :toothy10:）
Zip忙道："脸部没有装甲保护，对吧？好，那就是你将要做的。你是一个无情的女人。现在，你要考虑一些事情。（That face ain't got armor on it, right? Well, that's how you're gonna have to do it. You're one hard-boiled lady. Now, you'll think of somethin'.）"
劳拉抱怨道："我究竟雇你做什么？（What exactly am I hiring you for?）"
Zip反驳道："我对于安全系统的非凡认识，以及我对于破解它们的卓越技巧。别再提及人们神圣不可侵犯的个性。那改不了，也犯了忌讳。（My extraordinary knowledge of security systems, and my unsurpassed skill in crackin' them. Not to mention my ineffably addictive personality.）"
劳拉说道："好的。我将不会再提起它。（You're right. I won't mention it.）"
劳拉往前面的研究室走去。
在她接近门口时，耳机里Zip说道："现在这里不那么简单。你要通过的那道门的控制系统要求两个人同时插入（ID卡）才能打开。（Now this ain't gonna be easy. This door operates on that pass you got 'cept it needs two inserted at the same time.）"
这ZIP说话就爱拐弯，也难怪劳拉刚才得罪他......
果然，劳拉不耐烦地问道："你到底想说什么？（Meaning what exactly?）"
Zip答道："我是说，你别总是想做什么就做什么。试着不要杀死那家伙，因为我们需要他，了解？（Meaning, against your better judgment, try not to go killing that guy 'cuz we need him, yeah?）"
劳拉走进研究室，这里如果按照Zip说得去做的话，就会少得到一个秘密地点。做法如下：拔枪对准研究员，怕死的研究员马上蹲下抱头求饶。过了一会儿，劳拉示意他配合，两人同时刷卡开门，然后让他转过身去，跳过去用枪柄敲晕他。
想得到Secrets的话，就这样做：拔出枪来，调成连发模式，迅速将研究员击毙。
（如果杀了那研究员，就会出现以下的话，不然就没有。）
耳机里传来Zip的声音："唉，早该想到你本性难移。现在你将不得不尝试不太舒适的路线，穿过那条通风道。当你穿过它时，何不想想你刚刚做了什么。（Kech, shoulda know you can't get a leopard to change its spots. You're gonna have to try the not so pleasant way now. Through that vent, and while you're going through it, why don't you have a think about what you just done.）" [古墓之神注四十六]
这时，在过道另一头，入口对面通风道的门打开了。从里面跑出来两个守卫。
第十二集：带着彩虹女神逃跑（Escape with the iris）
Lara往前走去，拐弯。她抬头看看前面走廊上方的警告标志，这时Zip的声音在她耳边响起："好了，你已经是一个坏女孩了，在我告诉你你将得到的惩罚前，我只想说争论是没有用的，因为我不会听。把你所有的金属物品——对，枪是金属的——放在托盘上，马上！（Okay, you've been a bad girl, and before I tell you what your punishment is, I just want to say that there's no point in arguing cuz I ain't gonna be listnin'. Take all your metal items -- yes guns is metal -- and put 'em in the tray. Now!）" :laughing11: :hello2:
Lara疑惑地问道："也就是说你让我在一栋爬满武装守卫的建筑里解除自己的武装？（So you're telling me to disarm myself in a building crawling with armed guards?）"
Zip答道："现在，如果我有在听的话——我说过我不想（听）——我会通过警告这样问我的人来停止争论：事实上她的枪无论如何也无法对抗十英尺高的步行战车！但我没在听，所以我什么都没有说。（Now if I was listening, which I ain't like I told ya before, I would counteract this argument by alerting the person asking me this to the fact her guns ain't against ten foot tall walking tanks anyway! But I ain't listening, so I ain't sayin nuthin'.）"
Lara让步了："我会照办，不过如果你把这事弄糟...（I'm doing it, But if you mess this up...）"
Zip："好吧，我又在听了。相信我，我不会把这事弄糟的，好吗？（Alright, I'm listening again, And trust me, I ain't going to mess this up, okay?）" :thumbsup:
Lara："我有选择吗？（Do I have a choice?）"
Zip："没有。（Nope,）"
Lara从背上取下枪，走到玻璃托盘旁边（按Ctrl。如果带枪走进走廊，会引发天花板上的机枪，前面也会出现三道激光束档路），往通道里看看，把枪放在托盘上。然后走过走廊。有X光照射可以看到Lara的骨骼，也可以看到盒子里的东西，第一个盒子里面是炸弹，第二个是小药包。
往前经过沙发后，耳机里传来Zip的声音："我不愿做坏消息的传递者，但是楼梯在外面，除非你是刀枪不入（才出得去）。你并非刀枪不入的，是吧？（I don't like to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the stairs are out, unless you're bullet-proof. You ain't bullet-proof, are ya?）"
Lara问道："电梯怎么样了？（What about the lifts?）"
Zip："哦，电梯是下去的。通常当试图逃出某地的时候，聪明的（做法）不是向门口的反方向前进吗？比如屋顶？（Well, the lifts is going down, and normally, when trying to escape somewhere, ain't it clever to head in the direction of the exit? Like the roof?）" :laughing11:
Lara讽刺道："对，真是聪明的（做法），还有像是让我丢弃我的枪？（Right. That would be clever. Like making me ditch my guns?）" :toothy10:
Zip叫道："哎唷！是，或许你最好开始寻找一些武器。嘿，别担心，女孩，会有英雄救美的。（Ouch, Yeah, maybe you'd better start looking for some weapons. Hey, don't sweat it girl, the man will save you.）"
Lara淡淡地说道："（这种事）还没有发生过。（Hasn't happened yet.）"
Lara终于登上了电梯。
可是电梯已经坏掉了，它往下急坠。
Lara赶紧往前，按下按钮启动紧急刹车装置，减缓了下坠的速度，但撞击还是产生了剧烈震荡，Lara摔倒在地，晕了过去。
强烈的冲击令电梯都变形了。
这时她的耳机里传来Zip焦急的呼叫："Lara，你在那吗？Lara！Lara！你骨折了吗？你没有死，对吧？快点，女孩，回答我！（Lara are you there? Lara! Lara! You broke? You ain't dead, is ya? C'mon girl, answer me!）"
这时Lara悠悠醒转，慢慢爬起来，用虚弱的声音回答Zip："到明天早晨会很痛的。（Gonna be sore in the morning.）"
Zip高兴地说道："我知道你极其强壮，可以承受像那样的坠落。（I knew you was too tough for a fall like that.）"
Lara问道："啊，我在第一层，是吗？（Uh, I'm on the ground floor, aren't I?）"
Zip开玩笑道："对！第一层。（你得）离开这里去面对那些全副武装的"冰箱"，然后长途跋涉返回楼上去。嘿嘿，抱歉，女孩，你办得到的，但我的天，你还是完好无缺的吧，嗯？（Bing! Ground floor. Depart here for gun-toting refrigerator men and long walk back upstairs, hehe, Sorry girl, you got it, but hell, you in one piece, ain't ya?）"
Lara咳嗽着说道："我还从没感觉这么好过。（Never felt better.）"（真逞强......这Lara也能算游戏界十大小强之一了吧~）
Lara左拐来到一个小厅，当她进去后，那厚厚的铁门落下了，将那些守卫挡在门外。
这时Zip通知她："做得好，女孩。请稍等一分钟，我在检查一些东西。（You're doin' good, girl, but just you hold there a minute. I'm checking for somethin'.）"
这时Lara发现敌人正在慢慢把门焊开，忙道："Zip，他们正要用气焊枪破门而入。（Zip, they're coming through the door with welding torches.）"
Zip悠哉游哉地说："好，好，就...（Yeah, yeah, just...）"
突然ZIP改变语气，喜道："搞定了！屋顶的角落，监视器，快速移动会惊动它们，所以从容些，好吗？你还等什么呢？（Gotcha! Top corners of the room. Motion trackers. Fast movement triggers 'em. So take it easy. Well? What are ya waiting for?）" :laughing11: :thumbsup:
Lara往前走去，透过铁条窗看到一个守卫在面板处输入正确的数字开门进去。
这时Zip联系Lara："现在，你要站在能看到面板的位置，因为他每次巡逻个三四圈，这位"移动的冰箱先生"都要输入密码。（Now, you wanna get yo self in a position where you can see the keypad, cuz once every three or four cycles, mister mobile refrigerator there is gonna type in the code.）"
Lara："你（等于什么都）没说。（You don't say.）"
Zip答道："你能办到，宝贝！我（提供的）简直全是必需的信息。（You got it baby! I is just full of vital information.）"
Lara："你（脑子里）全是其他东西吧。（You're full of something.）"
Zip："没有我，女士，你应该早就会被吊在一个水牢里，在你的下面除了水，就全是那些有尖刺的木棒......（Without me, lady, you'd be just some has-been hanging by your cuticles over a spike pit in some arm pit back water country...）"
Lara打断并讽刺他："听起来要（比现在的情况）更好。（Sounds preferable.）"
大楼内某处的走廊上。
一名守卫通过别在胸口的对讲机报告："请允许（我）进去，先生！我有关于入侵者状况的重要消息（要报告）。（Permission to enter, Sir! I have important news on the situation regarding the intruder.）"
门开了，他走进一间非常大的办公室。V形桌子后，两个老人在壁炉前。坐在轮椅上用毯子盖住腿的是Von Croy。他旁边还站着一个年纪更大的老头，西装革履，口袋里还插着一朵红玫瑰。 [古墓之神注四十七]
Von Croy转向那守卫："继续说下去？（And?）"
守卫："看，嗯，看来她已经躲过了我们的人，拿走了彩虹女神。先生。（It, uh, it seems that she's managed to evade my men and remove the Iris, Sir.）"
Von Croy怒道："无能！这个入侵者现在在哪里？还是说你们又一次把她弄丢了？（Incompetence! Where is this intruder now or have you mislaid her once more?）"
在他说话时，旁边的老头欠身按下桌下的按钮，桌前一面超薄屏幕墙垂了下来。
守卫答道："最后的（监视）影像是在休息室，先生！（Last visual contact in the lobby, Sir!）"
Von Croy："最后的影像？看来你们又一次把她弄丢了。找到她！马上找到她！（Last visual contact? So you have lost her again. Find her! Find her now!）"
那个老头说道："所有出口都封闭了，这些表演是多余的。现在我们辨别出（入侵者身份）了吗？（All exits are blocked. There is no need for these histrionics. Do we have identification yet?）"
守卫答道："只有影像，先生！（Only visual, Sir!）"
这时监视器拍下的Lara跑过休息室的身影显示在大屏幕上。
Von Croy马上说道："不用了，我知道这入侵者是谁。Lara Croft。（No need. I know who the intruder is. Lara Croft.）"
老头回应："啊，你的过去又一次回来缠着你了，Werner，傻孩子。没关系，她逃不了。让这座建筑进入全面警戒。（Ah, your past once more comes back to haunt you, Werner, foolish boy. No matter, she will not escape. Place the building under full alert.）" [古墓之神注四十八]
第十三集：红色警报！（Red alert!）
劳拉往前走去，扭头看看右边过道，听到一种奇怪的嗡嗡声。
劳拉马上跟Zip联系："我感觉这里并不像它看起来这么简单。（Got a feeling this isn't quite what it seems.）"
Zip赞扬道："我就知道你不是只有漂亮脸蛋而已。试着用红外线观察阴暗处，女孩。（And I knew you weren't just a pretty face. Try infrared on the shades, girl.）"
劳拉按下了按钮，但是那道门卡住了，开不了。
耳机里传来Zip的声音："继续前进，女孩。今晚想做你护花使者的人太多了。（Keep moving, girl. You got too many escorts tonight.）"
劳拉："你会习惯的，出口在哪？（You get used to it, Where's the exit?）"
Zip："我现在告诉你一个出口，但你得承诺不要...（Now, I got you an exit, but you got to promise not to ...）"
ZIP说了什么，但螺旋桨的声音和机枪的扫射声使得劳拉已经无法听清楚他下面的话了。
劳拉走到尽头，爬上高处，转身跳抓住梯子爬上去，往左移落地。
劳拉再往左走到边缘，轻轻落在下面箱子上。
Zip联系她："耶！你做得很好！现在带着你瘦骨嶙峋的臀部离开那儿！还有，嘿，你还会（跟我）联系吧？也许我们可以成为笔友。（Yeah girl! You done good! Now get your boney ass outta there! And hey, you stay in touch yeah? Maybe we gonna be pen friends.）"
劳拉答道："瘦骨嶙峋的臀部？我可不同意。不过我会（跟你）联系的。解除这个地区的限制，美国佬。我要出去了。（Boney ass? I doubt it, but I'll be in touch. Clear the area, Yank. I'm coming out.）"
劳拉落在地上，往前跑到通道口处，把两截钥匙合在一起组成停机坪钥匙（Helipad access card），嵌入左边底座开门，进入通道。
劳拉进入通道，跑上坡，接着开枪把门打烂，一脚踢开门冲了出去。三个敌人紧追在后。
劳拉跑过停机坪，一个前空翻，抓住搁在边缘的滑翔机，滑向较低处的屋顶。敌人气急败坏。
［画面切换回现在，劳拉的庄园］Winston、Jean-Yves、Patrick神父三人一起举杯，Jean-Yves说道："为缺席的朋友们。（To absent friends.）"
Winston："嗯。（Indeed.）"
Patrick神父："上帝保佑她的灵魂安息。（God rest her soul.）"
［画面切换到埃及］沙漠，暴风沙中。Von Croy坐在一堵破墙边。
风沙中一个小孩跑过来，喊着："Von Croy先生！Von Croy先生！快来！（Mister Von Croy! Mister Von Croy! Come quickly!）"
Von Croy马上站起来看他。他跑到Von Croy身边，扶着Von Croy与他一同来到金字塔前。
小孩提起一盏灯在前引路，他们沿着工人们挖出的狭窄通道往下。
来到深处，Von Croy急切地问工人们："是什么？你们找到什么？把它递给我。快把它递给我！（What is it, man? What have you found? Pass it to me. Pass it to me!）"
他拿到那样东西，转过身来。
Von Croy！Von Croy他难以抑制自己内心的兴奋，他几乎带着哭腔说道："我们找到她了！（We've found her!）"
他手中拿的是劳拉的背包。（完）
