Lara's Birthday Celebration! Win a copy of TR: A and a surprise signed by Toby Gard!

In less than two weeks it will be birthday time for our favorite Tomb Raider! To celebrate Lara's birthday and ten years of Tomb Raider, fans have an opportunity to submit either written or artistic birthday tribute to Lady Croft, and thus get a chance to win a copy of Tomb Raider: Anniversary, in the format of your choice, AND a commerative goodie item (exact type to be determined) signed by Toby Gard, Lara's creator!

Here's how it works- Fans can submit either-

Fan Art- May be drawn, painted, digitally colored or digital art using programs such as Maya, Poser, 3DS, etc, scanned and sent as a .jpg attachement. OR-

Fan Writing- Poems, short stories or essays not to exceed 500 words, in English, in MS Word doc. or compatible text format.

Each submission should focus on the theme of Lara Croft's birthday, either as a virtual person having a birthday or, on her tenth birthday as a game character and game series.

Each piece of fan work submitted must be the original creation of the submitter, made just for this contest and not previously posted anywhere else, no nudity or sexual content allowed of any kind (needless to say).

All submissions must be emailed to community@eidos.co.uk not later than Feb 14th, 2007. Judging will be done by the Eidos Tomb Raider forums staff under the direction of Keir, Eidos Community Manager.

Prizes are three Tomb Raider Anniversary games in the format of the winner's choice, along with a neat item signed by Toby Gard, creator of Lara Croft. One prize will be awarded in the Fan Art Category, one in the Fan Writing Category, and one prize to a runner-up from either category.

Winning entries will posted in the Tomb Raider: Anniversary forum, and prizes will be mailed to the winners when the TRA games become available.

Further rules for this official Eidos promotion are as follows-

1. Winners will be notified within 52 days of closing date by e-mail or Private Message on http://forum.eidosgames.com. 2. A list of winners, including names and country, will be available within 6 weeks of competition closing. These can be obtained by sending a Stamped Addressed Envelope to the Promoter (see 9 below). 3. Eidos Interactive accept no responsibility for entries/prizes lost or distorted in transmission. 4. There is no cash alternative to the prizes. 5. Eidos Interactive reserve the right to substitute prizes with others of at least equivalent value. 6. Competition not open to employees of Eidos plc, their agents and suppliers. 7. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to. 8. No purchase necessary. 9. The competition promoter is Eidos Interactive Ltd, Wimbledon Bridge House, 1 Hartfield Road, Wimbledon, London, SW19 3RU.

不到两周就是我们所钟爱的古墓丽影Lara的生日，为了庆祝这个日子以及古墓诞辰十周年，玩家可以有机会创造一些文章或是艺术品来作为庆祝Croft女士生日的礼物。以此可以有机会获得周年纪念的游戏，您可以选择使用于自己的平台版本（），并且是经过Toby Gard（Lara的创造者）签名的！

至于以什么形式可以有您选择。

您可以画画、作图、做音乐，也可以使用像玛雅、Poser、3DMAX或是ect之类的3D制作软件来绘制jpg格式的图像文件。

当然你也可以用英语写诗、小故事或是不超过500个词的小说，并以Ms-word的兼容文本格式传给我们。

在这个系列发展到第十个年头的时候，请像为一个真实中的朋友庆祝生日一样，真诚地为Croft女士庆祝。

值得特别提到的是，您的每个艺术品都需要本着来自于Lara原始模型的态度，而不要像以前发生过的那样做出"古墓裸影"或是诸如此类的东西。

您需要在2007年2月14日之前将你的作品通过电子邮件的方式传至community@eidos.co.uk，所有文件将由EIDOS古墓丽影的官方论坛的Keir裁决并交至EIDOS共同管理。

draw和paint可不是画画和作图。
draw是指用铅笔、钢笔做的画，而且一定不是上色的画；
paint是指用颜料作画，一定是上色的，做油画也叫paint。
翻译是需要一定的知识积累的哟~~
语法更是要100%语法题，200%做对。
词汇积累自己要慢慢锻炼，语法更强调心领神会
