Those fine bastions of print media over at Official Playstation 2 magazine have managed to procure a playable version of Tomb Raider Legend - Lara Croft\'s seventh outing now under the aegis of Crystal Dynamics - and appear more than mildly impressed with what they\'ve seen.
Addressing in particular the new control system, OPM2 says: \"This refined control system makes for a far more freeform and forgiving system. Cack-handed jumps can still lead to bone-powdering impacts on an unloving floor however, so the challenge hasn\'t changed.
\"It\'s simply more enjoyable to manoeurvre between one potentially fatal fall and the next. And should you miss a jump, you can now perform a \'saving grab\'. A buttom flashes up on screen and, if you hit it quickly enough, Lara manages a last-minute lunge.\"
The mag has also speculated on the mystery suitor thought to have tapped the lucrative voice of Lara Croft in the upcoming game and has drawn up a short-list that includes Rachel Weisz (3-2 favourite), Keeley Hawkes (4-5 odds on), Keira Knightley (evens) and Liz Hurley (2-1 odds against).
The \"unnamed celebrity\" also lends her voice to PSP versions of Tomb Raider. Eidos will unveil her identity next month.
